We generally hire a car to move around at the destination. For a longer stay, driving all the way from home might be possible although it would mean several days in the car and we are finding long stretches of driving increasingly uncomfortable. However, I used to drive to the south of France with my ex-husband and children when they were young for our 4-week annual holiday. He did most of the driving though as he doesn't mind sitting behind the steering wheel for hours and hours.Teresahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06299152873788609754noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1640685491067173445.post-62226734867965789352016-03-08T23:34:49.152+02:002016-03-08T23:34:49.152+02:00The kitchen renovation was quite a bit more expens...The kitchen renovation was quite a bit more expensive than we had assumed so I was thinking hubby would appreciate some economising on my part.
