Pink riverbank

In April, it felt as if spring was in slow motion. May has felt like fast-forward.

Yesterday, I went to shoot the blossoming Sargent’s cherries on the riverbank. It was practically the final moment to capture some full bloom. I can’t keep up with the speed nature is coming to life this time.

  1. It has been the same here, everyday I look out of the bedroom window as I draw back the shutters and can't believe how beautiful the countryside is looking. Your photos of the pink blossom against a blue skie are magnificent.

  2. What glorious pink blossom. It must be such a treat for you to have such a change in the seasons. Your town by the over looks so full of character. B x

    1. And the summer season brings about a change in people, too. You almost feel like the rather gloomy and unsociable winter population was replaced by a different one for the light season.
