Friday was depressing as ever, dark and
grey with a drizzle. Saturday was from another world completely, sunny with a
temperature verging on 20C.
We are venturing on overnighting at the cottage which has no heating. I have a
feeling this will be one of the rare occasions I will manage to retire early.
Glad you had some decent weather and made it to your cottage. Perhaps this is the start of a warm autumn. Beautiful sunset. B x
ReplyDeleteIt feels as if we were already losing the extremes and had to settle for a sort of permanent midway, which is exactly how climate change is expected to affect the Nordic region. I wouldn't mind warmer autumns though. :)
DeleteBreathtaking! xx K
ReplyDeleteThe unusually chilly summer has turned to another unusually mild autumn, it seems.
DeleteA wonderful sunset it must have been worth staying at the cottage and enjoying such a view. Sarah x
ReplyDeleteWe did feel quite fortunate with two rather warm sunny days in a row this late in the autumn.
