Waiting for the rain

The week was warm with the highest temperatures ranging between 25 and 31°C (77 and 88°F). For several days now, the weather forecasts have been talking about showers and thunderstorms. A couple of days ago the nationwide number of lightnings recorded on a single day amounted to almost 30,000.

No no, not a drop for us. We’ve heard some thunder all around but the rain just won’t come our way. Merely some drizzle that feels nothing more than a trifle of morning dew. Hey you up there, we’d welcome some pouring on us, too!

    1. I'd like to have a break from the watering, you see. Thanks to the morning dew even the wild plants will have some water.

  2. No onpas harmillista ettei teille yhtään sadetta ole tullut. :)
Kauniita kukkia sinulla on eivätkä näytä ollenkaan kärsineiltä.

  3. Toivottavasti sinulla on sataa pian. Olin yllättynyt lukiessani sinulla on korkeampia lämpötiloja kuin meille. Rakastan valokuvia.

    1. Our summers are wonderful. You should came and see for yourself some time. I wouldn't recommend winter though: so cold and dark even many of the natives including myself would prefer to sleep it through.
