Happy International Women’s Day to you dear reader!

It is still so white and cold outside it feels like we’ll never get rid of this winter but you’d better believe in a few weeks daffodils will be all over.

And in a couple of months the colour green will start creeping back to our lives. That’s a promise.

‘A promise is a promise: Time for action to end violence against women’ is the official United Nations theme for the 2013 Women’s Day.
