Fell into fall

We are back home, just in time to see the last of the colourful foliage and the last of the roses blooming. 




Night frost is here. It truly feels like autumn.

      En kyllä meinannut tarjeta kuvata ilman käsineitä, kun palasimme yli 20 asteen lämmöstä. Mukavaa viikonloppua sinnekin!

    Your garden looks so lovely in it's Autumn shades. Was it quite a contrast in temperature returning home?

      It certainly was, some 20 degrees centigrade to start with. It was about 22-24 when we left Rome and we only had 4 degrees above freezing point the following afternoon.

      Autumn is here and so is rainy, windy and cold weather. No matter how much I'd like to fall for the fall it just isn't the time for me, I'm afraid.
